Job Summary

The Foundation Solutions Analyst will be part of the Foundation Systems and Platforms team and will work on developing integration feeds to support our GIS work for patient family acquisition to contribute to support our predictive analytics initiatives. This analyst will contribute to ensuring that the CHOP Foundation’s business objectives and processes are translated accurately and effectively into the Foundation CRM.

This position will provide global support (including application configuration, complex formulas and maintenance) and assist users with proactive best practices to enhance and increase their knowledge of our internal Foundation applications. This analyst will also contribute to supporting our data warehouse and multiple ETL (Extract Transform and Load) feeds.

The Foundation Solutions Analyst will collaborate with management and fellow team members to design, develop and provide user solutions compliant with requirements and standards in Sales Cloud.

This person will work with Senior level team members to evaluate project requirements, create technical designs and implement changes within the Foundation ecosystem.

Must be eager to learn and proactively use the Salesforce online training to become proficient in Salesforce modules and features.

Job Responsibilities

• Code enhancement and bug fixes to current CRM.
• Champion modular design and code reuse while employing industry best practices.
• Enable change, help accelerate innovation and ensure customer satisfaction with Salesforce.
• Manage application phases of system implementation (e.g. configuration, customization, integration, data migration).
• Ensure that software standards and quality targets are met.
• Drive low-level architecture and contribute to high-level architecture.
• Responsible for delivering high quality code with supporting unit test and automation on time.
• Expected to be able to develop custom Salesforce components from scratch.                                                                                                                                 

• Drive software development activities to meet schedules and timelines.
• Research problems discovered by team, users or product support and develop solutions to the problems.
• Conduct unit testing and integration testing for functionality.

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree

Two (2) years’ experience working with Salesforce UI Lightening.

Preferred Education, Experience & Cert/Lic

Preferred Experience:

Two years (2) years or more experience working in salesforce.com with full lifecycle implementation

Experience working in a non-profit environment and general understanding of the non-profit data structure



Preferred Licenses/certificates/registrations

Additional Technical Requirements

Experience with identifying business requirements and designing corresponding technological solutions.

Experience integrating 3rd party applications (Service and Sales Cloud)

Possess excellent software architecture, design and problem solving skills

Ability to work effectively with other Salesforce developers, cross-functional teams and business partners to develop high-quality applications

Experience developing mission critical applications in agile environment

Experience with SQL Server databases

Experience with Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Access, Excel


Preferred Technical Requirements:

Proven excellent analytical and organizational skills

Demonstrated interest in business processes and technology

Must maintain and exhibit the highest standards of ethical conduct

Ability to work as an integral part of a fundraising team

Experience with agile development methodologies

Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to successfully interface with all levels of the organization

Demonstrated ability to work with and train individuals with diverse skill sets

Experience in a busy, high-volume Development office preferred
