Job Summary

The Salesforce Developer will provide global day-to-day end-user support (including system configuration, complex formulas and system maintenance) for the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation’s use of the Non-Profit Success Pack, Marketing Cloud, and other related Salesforce applications.  S/he will ensure that business objectives and processes are translated accurately and effectively in Salesforce.


This role will assist users with proactive best practices to enhance and increase their knowledge of Salesforce.com. S/he will collaborate with management and fellow developers to design, develop and provide user solutions compliant with technical requirements and standards in Sales Cloud, and will be responsible for delivering high quality code with supporting unit test and automation on time. This role must be able to develop custom Salesforce components from scratch. 


The Developer will be expected to work with Senior Developers to evaluate project requirements, create technical designs and implement changes within the Salesforce instance. 


Must be eager to learn and proactively use the Salesforce online training to become proficient in Salesforce modules and features. 
 

Job Responsibilities
  1. Code enhancement and bug fixes to current Salesforce Application.
  2. Champion modular design and code reuse while employing industry best practices. 
  3. Enable change, help accelerate innovation and ensure customer satisfaction with Salesforce.
  4. Drive software development activities to meet schedules and timelines.
  5. Research problems discovered by team, users or product support and develop solutions to the problems.
  6. Conduct unit testing and integration testing for functionality.
  7. Ensure that software standards and quality targets are met.
  8. Drive low-level architecture and contribute to high-level architecture. 
  9. Manage application phases of system implementation (e.g. configuration, customization, integration, data migration)

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree 


Two (2) years’ experience working with Salesforce UI Lightning.


At least one (1) years of object oriented programming experience.
 

Preferred Education, Experience & Cert/Lic

Preferred Experience: 

  • Experience working in a non-profit environment and general understanding of the non-profit data structure.
Additional Technical Requirements
  • Experience integrating 3rd party applications with Sales Cloud
  • Demonstrated interest in business processes and technology
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and train individuals with diverse skill sets.
  • Experience in a busy, high-volume Development office preferred.
  • Experience in building custom applications using APEX, Lightning and UI related coding technologies
  • Experience with Sales and Marketing Cloud implementations.
  • Possess excellent software architecture, design and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with other Salesforce developers, cross-functional teams and business partners to develop high-quality applications.
  • Experience developing mission critical applications in agile environment. 
  • Experience with Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Excel 
  • Proven excellent analytical and organizational skills
