Job Summary

Outstanding postdoctoral researchers are sought for studies broadly related to skeletal biology and pathophysiology.  Current research topics include cartilage and bone development, skeletal diseases related to aging or diabetes, integration of bone metabolism and systemic physiology.  Successful candidates must have excellent English communication skills and demonstrate a strong potential for scientific independence.  Individuals with training in cell biology, molecular biology or biochemistry are encouraged to apply.  Experience in bioinformatic analyses of high-throughput sequencing datasets is a plus.  Please send CV to longf1@email.chop.edu.

  1. Conduct independent scholarly research and develop new methods and protocols
  2. Participate in project planning, recording and evaluation of data
  3. Acquire technical, lab management and grant writing skills
  4. Participate in seminars, lectures, poster sessions and presentation at national meetings
  5. Supervise junior lab members

  • A terminal degree PhD, MD, DVM, etc.
  • According to the CMS (Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services) a copy of diploma or transcript is required as proof of academic achievement for all non-laboratory personnel performing non-waived POC testing
