Job Summary

We seek a highly-motivated and self-sufficient post doc to join our human immunology laboratory. Candidates should possess or soon possess PhD degrees in immunology, cell/molecular biology, genetics or related fields. The available position is to study epigenetic regulation of healthy and diseased germinal center reactions using genome wide technologies including RNA-seq, CHiP-seq and ATAC-seq. The post doc filling this position will also have opportunities to work on/lead disease discovery projects. Competitive candidates need to possess experience in flow cytometry, cell sorting and molecular biology. Experience and/or interest in genome editing and analysis of large genomic data sets are favored.

The offered position is funded for approximately five years. For productive post-docs there will be opportunities to present scientific data at local, national and international meetings. Salary is competitive and will depend upon qualifications and previous training.

A autumn 2019 start date is preferred. Institutional assistance for obtaining a VISA to work in the United States is available

  • A terminal degree PhD, MD, DVM, etc.
  • According to the CMS (Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services) a copy of diploma or transcript is required as proof of academic achievement for all non-laboratory personnel performing non-waived POC testing
