Job Summary

The Office of Outreach Programs creates, delivers and tracks comprehensive educational programming, STEM internships and events developed in collaboration with key institutional and community stakeholders.  The Program Coordinator will assist the Associate Director in administrative tasks involving numerous programs that serve multiple populations within the local community, the Research Institute and the Hospital. This includes supporting the organization and implementation of student and community programing including onboarding students, program scheduling and coordination, assisting in faculty program coordination, and ensuring all programs are run efficiently and professionally.

Job Responsibilities

1)    Coordinate student selection and onboarding across programs

2)    Arrange student program logistics

3)    Oversee student internship database

4)    Coordinate CHOP community events

5)    Aid in CHOP Research diversity initiatives 

6)    Serve as liaison with outside community partners 
 

Required Education and Experience

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree

Required Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in program coordination required.  
 

Additional Technical Requirements

•    Previous program coordination experience.  Successful performance in a high-intensity work environment. 
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook)
•    Excellent problem identification and problem solving skills   
•    Attention to detail
•    Excellent organizational skills
•    Ability to balance multiple priorities
•    Excellent written and interpersonal skills
•    Ability to handle confidential matters and materials
