Job Summary

The Innovation Ecosystem team is an interdisciplinary, cross-functional team working to further innovation at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia by connecting people to each other and to resources, developing individual and institutional capacity, establishing best practices, and cultivating an innovation-positive culture. We work on a variety of projects ranging from building technology to qualitative research to developing training programs. We are seeking a highly motivated, independent Program Coordinator I to help coordinate and execute our work and projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations and work product
  • Monitor and coordinate program operations, resources and projects including develop project plans facilitate the resolution of issues, and carry out activities as outlined in project plans
  • Enact policies and procedures, and maintain related documentation and databases.
  • Maintain program metrics and related tools and regularly reports results.
  • Coordinate information collection, compilation and dissemination as required. Provide advanced administrative support as needed.
  • Perform other duties and projects as required.
  • Plan, schedule, oversee, and participate in team, project, and program meetings
  • Manage bi-weekly interdisciplinary team meetings
  • Execute on tasks/scopes outlined by strategy team & pillar leads
  • Break down high-level project plans into executable tasks for own and others’ work
  • Work with/within team-wide project management framework(s), budgets, and tools
  • Communicate back to the team, get feedback, ask questions
  • Track and regularly report out/escalate missed or at-risk milestones
  • Support supervisor(s) and project leads, as needed
  • Complete technical, administrative, and informational requests as needed

Required Education and Experience

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree


Required Experience: One (1) year of administration, coordination or program experience.

Preferred Education, Experience & Cert/Lic

Preferred Experience:

  • Three (3) years of administration, coordination or program experience.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare related environment.
  • Previous supervisory experience.

  • Intermediate proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office) including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
